Soft-Chem

Thermoseal® soft-chem® expanded PTFE offers outstanding corrosion resistance, impermeability, and superior sealability for a wide range of applications. 8500 Aramid -Inorganic NBR Excellent in steam, natural gas, soybean processing and with new generation refrigerants. A high quality general service gasket material for use in a wide range of services in pulp and paper, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, refinery, gas pipeline and general industry.
8600 Aramid -Inorganic SBR Developed for services such as water, steam, air inert gases, alcohols, dilute acids and alkalis ammonia and many other liquids and gases. Exhibits good compressibiliity and recovery, sealability, flexibility and cutting characteristics.
8700 Aramid -Inorganic CR Excellent for use in processes which require a neoprene (CR) bonded sheet to 700°F (371°C) or 1500 psi (10.3 MPa). This product has excellent resistance to ozone, oils, non-aromatic solvents and many refrigerants.

9200W Barium Sulfate/PTFE Designed for use in aggressive chemicals. Including caustics, hydrogen peroxide, sodium hypochlorite, nitric acid, liquors and digester in pulp and paper service. Applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical and plastics industries include butadiene, hydrofluoric acid, vinyl chloride, methyl methacrylates, and styrene.
9400 Carbon/PTFE Designed for use in piping and equipment in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other general industrial applications where resistance to highly aggressive chemicals (including hydrofluoric acid) is required within a temperature range of -350°F to 550°F (-212°C to 288°C) or with pressure up to 1500 psi (10.3 MPa). Conforms to FDA requirements.
9600 Expanded PTFE Designed for use in process piping and equipment in chemical, pulp and paper, food and beverage and other general industrial applications where resistance to highly aggressive chemicals is required. Suitable for use in steel flanges and flanges with irregular surfaces. Conforms to FDA requirements.

flexitallic sf3300 SF 3300 A premium quality sheet material reinforced with a blend of aramid and glass fibers and bound with nitrile rubber. SF 3300 complies with the highest grade of the British Standard for non-asbestos sheet sealing materials - BS 7531 Grade X. For applications in split case pumps where a thin, complex gasket capable of withstanding a high surface stress is required, SF 3500, a variant of SF 3300, has been developed. Where caustic liquors have to be sealed a variant of SF 3300 reinforced with a blend of aramid and carbon fibers is offered: this material, SF 5000 is widely used in the pulp and paper industry.
flexitallic sf3500 SF 3500 SF 3500 is a superior performance compressed non-asbestos gasket material ideal for use in pumps (including split case). It is constructed with glass and aramid fiber reinforcement, and it uses a NBR binder. SF 5000 is suitable for use in a wide range of industrial applications including oils, fuels, steam, water and dilute acids. SF 5000 is especially suitable for sealing caustic liquors. flexitallic fluoroseal Fluoroseal Joint Sealant Tape Fluoroseal joint sealant tape is manufactured from 100% expanded PTFE. The material offers good creep and cold flow resistance. Fluoroseal possesses excellent chemical resistance. It is also weather resistant and will not deteriorate with age. The sealant tape is supplied with a self adhesive strip and is available in a range of widths from 3mm (1/8”) to 25mm (1”). It conforms easily to irregular shapes and can be pushed into narrow openings effortlessly.

sigma 511 Sigma 511 Biaxially oriented PTFE filled with silica, fawn in color, provides enhanced strength, durability, and dependable sealing performance. Offers standard compressibility and is suitable for strong acids (except hydrofluoric), general chemicals, and all concentrations of sulfuric acid. Not for use with molten alkali metals, fluorine gas, or hydrogen fluoride. WRAS approved for hot and cold potable water services.
sigma 533 Sigma 533 Biaxially oriented PTFE filled with barium sulfate, off-white and pigment-free, delivers excellent chemical resistance and reliable sealing in demanding applications. Provides standard compressibility and is ideal for sealing food, pharmaceutical, and non-contamination applications. Suitable for strong alkaline solutions, general chemicals, and aqueous hydrofluoric acid below 49%, but not for molten alkali metals or fluorine gas.
